Obligatory European destinations?
I’ll be passing through Europe in late June, early July, with no strict schedule. I’ve seen quite a bit of France almost nothing else in the ‘Rope.
Pray tell: where must I go?
This is less “what are some nice places to see and things to do?” and more “what is it a crying shame that I have not eyed in 22 years of eyesight?” Thoughts very much appreciated.
Definitely Amsterdam, not for the stereotypical “wasted weekend” that everyone goes for, but just to see how the city works. I felt safer there than I have anywhere else.
Having just come back from Prague in the Czech Republic I’d also give it my recommendation, the place is saturated with incredible architecture and if you’re of the mindset it’s a great party town in the right parts.
